I’ve been teaching myself how to draw manga from the age of sixteen. In a country town like where I use to live it wasn’t like anything I’d ever seen before. I was drawn to it immediately and took it home to watch. My drawing obsession began after that.

Anyway I dug myself a large hole at the same time, I thoroughly enjoy drawing characters don’t get me wrong but that’s all I draw I’ve never thought to study and practice real art and hence I’ve created a rut. A bunch of pretty dollies with no stories to tell. It’s kind of sad.

Anyway this year and I know well this is a pretty late resolution, I intend to practice drawing RL still life whatever I can to fix my issues, as well as more anatomy which I really need to lift a notch. Hopefully by the end of this year I’ll start having decent backgrounds and props with my art…One can only hope.
